Naija News has received reports that government has deployed soldiers and police to venues of protests across the country
Our reporters are going around checking the militarisation of protest venues in Lagos. They filled the following updates.
Gani Fawehinmi Park, Ojota
-Gun wielding soldiers take over Ikorodu road mounting road blocks right from Mile 12, Ketu, with hundreds of them scattered all over Ojota.
-Gani Fawehinmi Freedom park is awfully empty with armoured tanks stationed under the flyover bridge. Road blocks subsist and the soldiers search and question every passerby
-People, mostly young men all gather around in clicks n the security officials urge everyone to keep moving and not stay in one place
-it is combination of all the security operatives that have cordoned Ikorodu road and the Freedom square-Police, Civil Defence Corp and the gun wielding military.
-It's a very cold Harmattan morning in Lagos and everyone seem pensive, waking up to this military invasion.

A police checkpoint now at Orile Iganmu, Badagry expressway, checking vehicles. There's a marked increase in human traffic compared to last week.
Soliders have been stationed at the Surulere rally ground. A handful of people are seen going back. The ground is deserted.
