Boko Haram in two separate attacks on Saturday night, a woman and her 10 year old child were shot dead by some gunmen who stormed their residence in Zannari, an outskirt of the town and another yet to identified man was said to have been killed by gunmen in the same vicinity.
Sources revealed that the gunmen stormed a house in Zannari area around 8:30pm on Saturday and shot dead the woman and her son. It was further gathered that the gunmen quickly fled the scene and left their victims in the pool of blood.
