According to FCT Police spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, the bus that was involved in the incident had been carrying transmission oils, hydraulic fluids and other motor oils before it caught fire before the Dantata Construction Company site along Nyanya-Area 1 road just around 4pm.
Other road users immediately began to panic as a result. However, the fire was put out and police anti-bomb squad and police investigators were immeidately deployed to the scene. They confirmed that there was no bomb or explosive in the vehicle.
To ensure security across the territory, more police personnel and patrol teams have been deployed across the territory.
